According to a notice by the US International Trade Commission (USITC), the USITC determined that the withdrawal of the countervailing duty (CVD) orders on cold-rolled steel flat products from China, India, and South Korea and the anti-dumping (AD) duty orders on same products from China, India, Japan, South Korea, and the UK would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.
Besides, the USITC also determined that the cancelation of the CVD and AD orders on these products from Brazil would not be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material damage to the US industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.
The USITC started these reviews on June 1, 2021 and made a determination on September 7, 2021 to conduct full reviews. A hearing was conducted on May 24, 2022. Determinations of these reviews were completed and filed on August 9, 2022.
