Australia’s Anti-Dumping Commission reached a final decision on anti-dumping (AD) exemption on precision pipe and tube steel imported from China and South Korea. The Minister for Industry and Science passed the decision of the Commission to end the AD taxes on products from China and South Korea as well as ending the countervailing duty on imports from China.
The products involved are under HS codes 7306.30.00.30, 7306.50.00.45, and 7306.61.00.21.
The initial AD investigation was started at the request of Australian producer Orrcon Manufacturing Pty Ltd to the Commission to probe the precision pipe and tube steel from China, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam on March 31, 2020.
