Mexico starts AD investigation on cold-rolled sheets from Vietnam

According to the declaration from the Mexican Secretariat of Economy on July 28, it launched an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on cold-rolled sheets originating in Vietnam, regardless of the country of origin.

The products involved cold-rolled sheets, or simply cold sheets, both alloyed and unalloyed, not plated or coated, with a thickness of less than 3 millimeters (mm), including both widths less than or equal to or greater than 600 mm.

The products involved are classified under HS codes 7209.16.01, 7209.17.01, 7209.18.01, 7209.26.01, 7209.27.01, 7209.28.01, 7209.90.99, 7211.23.03, 7211.29.99, 7211.90.99, 7225.50.07, 7226.92.06, 9802.00.01, 9802.00.02, 9802.00.03, 9802.00.07, 9802.00.13, 9802.00.15, and 9802.00.19 of the TIGIE.

The period of investigation was from October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021, and the injury investigation period was from October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2021.
