On July 9, 2022, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey made an affirmative final ruling of the third anti-dumping (AD) sunset review on iron or steel ropes and cables (including closed ropes) originating in China and Russia, deciding to maintain the AD duties on the subject goods from the two countries at a duty rate of US$500/ton.
The products involved are under HS codes 7312.10.81.00.00, 7312.10.83.00.00, 7312.10.85.00.00, 7312.10.89.00.00, and 7312.10.98.00.00.
The measure will be valid for a period of five years, taking effect from the date of publication of the announcement.
The third AD expiry investigation was launched on July 10, 2021, based on the application filed by Turkish domestic producers.
