According to the preliminary results of the anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review on large diameter welded pipes from Canada, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) preliminarily determined that Evraz, the sole mandatory respondent of this case, made sales of subject products at prices lower than normal value during the period of review from May 1, 2020 to April 30, 2021.
The review covers 46 producers or exporters of subject merchandise, including Evraz.
In addition, the USDOC rescinded this administrative review on 42 other companies not associated with Evraz and for which the review request was timely withdrawn.
The weighted-average dumping margin for Evraz Inc. NA, Evraz Inc. NA Canada, and Canadian National Steel Corporation was set at 1.04%.
This preliminary AD measure was applicable from June 6, 2022.
