US makes preliminary AD ruling on South Korea’s wire rod

According to the preliminary result of the anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) preliminarily found that POSCO, a producer and exporter of carbon and alloy steel wire rod from South Korea, didn’t sell its products in the US market at prices lower than normal value during the period of review from May 1, 2020 to April 30, 2021.

Therefore, POSCO was assigned a weighted-average dumping margin of zero for the period of review.

This ruling was applicable from June 2, 2022.
