US makes final AD ruling on Japan’s hot-rolled steel flat products

According to the final result of the anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review and the final determination of no shipments, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) determined that 22 Japan’s producers and exporters of hot-rolled steel flat products sold their products at prices lower than normal value in the US market during the period of review from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020. The weighted-average dumping margin set for the 22 companies is 24.07%.

In addition, the USDOC determined that Honda Trading Canada, Inc. and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. didn’t have shipments during the period of review.

This notice was applicable from May 24, 2022.
