US continues CVD orders on CTL plate from South Korea

According to the final result of the expedited first sunset review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) found that the cancellation of the existing CVD order on certain carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate (CTL plate) from South Korea would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of a countervailable subsidy.

The final subsidy rate for POSCO was set at 4.35%, the same rate assigned to all other South Korean suppliers involved in this case.

This measure was applicable from April 1, 2022.
