On March 22, 2022, Thailand’s Department of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce issued an announcement stating that the first anti-dumping (AD) sunset review was initiated against the certain hot-dip plated or coated with aluminum-zinc alloys of cold-rolled steel originating in Vietnam.
Thai customs code of the products involved are 7210.6111.011, 7210.6111.012, 7210.6111.013, 7210.6111.021, 7210.6111.022, 7210.6111.023, 7210.6111.031, 7210.6111.032, 7210.6111.033, 7210.6111.041, 7210.6111.042, 7210.6111.043, 7210.6111.090, 7210.6191.011, 7210.6191.012, 7210.6191.013, 7210.6191.090, 7210.6192.011, 7210.6192.090, 7212.5023.000, 7212.5024.000, 7212.5029.000, 7225.9990.043, 7225.9990.044, 7225.9990.045, 7225.9990.046, 7225.9990.047, 7225.9990.048, 7225.9990.049, 7225.9990.090, 7226.9919.090, and 7226.9999.090.
During the investigation of the case, AD duties of the same tax rate shall be levied on the products involved in the form of deposits, and the validity period shall not exceed one year.
The announcement took effect from the day after it was issued.
