In the sintering plant of voestalpine Stahl GmbH in Linz, Austria, raw materials have been extracted with the aid of rotary discharge machines
for more than 40 years. Four LOUISE machines were supplied back then, and AUMUND Fördertechnik GmbH is currently replacing the first of
them with a new AUMUND rotary discharge machine type LOUISE.
“Repeat orders like this are a great testament to the durability of our machines,” says Dr Rainer Bertling, Sales Director of the Metallurgy Division of AUMUND Fördertechnik in Rheinberg.
The new rotary discharge machine to be supplied by AUMUND is a BEW-FLS type LOUISE, the compact model for height restricted environments. It is equipped with a slewing discharge arm and has an extraction capacity of 1500 t/h. The slewing arm permits the machine to travel to various storage areas between discharge functions.
