US makes AD & CVD final ruling on fabricated structural steels from 3 countries

It was reported that on January 24th, 2020, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced an affirmative final anti-dumping ruling on fabricated structural steel imported from China, Mexico and Canada, an affirmative countervailing final ruling on these products from China and Mexico, and a negative countervailing ruling on the same products from Canada.

For Chinese producers and exporters, the dumping rate was 72.19~154.14%, and subsidy rate is 27.34~206.49%; for Mexican producers and exporters, the dumping rate was 0-30.58%, and subsidy rate was 0.01-68.87%; for Canadian producers and exporters, the dumping rate was 0.00-6.70%, and subsidy rate was minimal.

The US International Trade Commission (USITC) was expected to make a final ruling on industrial damage by March 9th, 2020. The involved products under the US Harmonized Tariff codes were 7308.90.3000, 7308.90.6000, 7308.90.9590, 7216.91.0010, 7216.91.0090, 7216.99.0010, 7216.99.0090, 7222.40.6000, 7228.70.6000, 7301.10.0000, 7301.20.1000, 7301.20.5000, 7308.40.0000, 7308.90.9530 and 9406.90.0030.
