On August 18th, 2016, the temper mill line of China Steel Corporation (Malaysia) undertaken by WISDRI witnessed its smooth acceptance by the Owner, with CSC and WISDRI putting their signature on FAT certificate.
The FAT result shows that the production capacity and equipment performance have totally met the requirements as specified in the technical appendix of contract, and especially worth mentioning is its stable and excellent product quality. To achieve this, several independently-developed patent technologies such as optimized thin strip threading technology, liquid film wet skin pass rolling technology, and double closed-loop hydraulic control system (for work roll bending and balancing) have played a decisive role. With product quality greatly improved, this line could better meet CSC (Malaysia)’s requirement for upgrading its products and the higher quality requirement of the downstream customers.
