  • East China, domestic, grade III 16-25mm rebar, traded at 3,930-3,970 yuan ($591-597) per tonne, including VAT. North China, domestic, grade III 16-25mm rebar, traded at 3,820-3,850 yuan, including VAT. – source: Metal Bulletin

Scrap

  • The first US exporter sold cargoes to three Turkish mills at equal prices on October 7. These sales were done at $310 per tonne cfr for HMS 1&2 (80:20), $315 per tonne cfr for shredded scrap and $320 per tonne cfr for bonus-grade and plate and structural (P&S) scrap. - source: Metal Bulletin

  • The Metal Bulletin CIS billet index declined by $12 per tonne to $494 per tonne fob Black Sea on Monday October 9, from $506 per tonne fob a week earlier - source: Metal Bulletin

HRC/P
